PRESS RELEASE: En Plein Air contemporary Art is pleased to invite you to the opening of the Contemporary Art Exhibition TERE GRINDATTO WORK IN PROGRESS taking place on Saturday 30 of April at 4,00 pm > 7 pm 2011 and Sunday 1 of May at 4,00 pm > 7 pm 2011 Tere Grindatto’s Study Via Clemente Lequio 10 – 10064 Pinerolo (TO) The Association En Plein Air Contemporary Art is glad to promote Work In Progress, an event leaving the traditional art places to go to the very heart of creativity: the artists’ studio, noble place where everything happens and where the artist, in this case Tere Grindatto, alone with her material and emotional tools, takes her shelter and meets a daily confrontation with herself. Place of excellence then, where the soul opens its wings and shows its essence leaving meaningful traces on canvases, tissues, papers… the fate of each artist is fulfilled here among enigmatic tools, tools of real or imagined life, among experiences and human signals we can identify, along a path flowing as the filigrees of the years in this creativity experienced at first hand. Tere Grindatto lives all along together with her art in a magnificent and enigmatic studio, which is niche, primordial cavern, atelier and is characterized by a continuous in-progress-devotion, attentive, never restrained but abundant, along an ascending path that sometimes becomes a cyclone… Tere creates and creates, tells us her ancient fairy tale, the story of an attentive woman, lively and contradictory, dreamer and rational, a woman who finds herself at ease with the ogres of every fairy tale upon canvases, among brushes and colors, among broken faces and bodies than reconstructed on different surfaces, among dynamic and voracious signs as only an artist such as she is can do and communicate, with ardor, far from technological devices.
